Afternoon-Evening Fireworks/Fest/Fair/Party Forecast 🎆
Heading out to a festival, fair, or a rescheduled fireworks display this afternoon and evening? Hosting a rescheduled party at home this afternoon and evening? Here’s what to expect…
The weather across Illinois will be much quieter today than it has been over the past few days, but some locations will still have to contend with changing weather conditions.
As a disturbance moves through the region, isolated to scattered showers and t’storms are expected to develop this afternoon, with activity lingering into the evening and early tonight. While coverage will not be widespread, some locations will have to contend with this activity. In other words, it will be hit-or-miss.
The good news is that the recent heat wave has come to an end. Temperatures will be much more seasonable, with afternoon highs ranging from the mid 70’s to mid 80’s across Northern Illinois to the 80’s across Central and Southern Illinois. Humidity levels will also be noticeably lower. 🎇
