•Widespread areas of precipitation, in the form of rain and snow, will traverse much of the state, from Thursday morning through Friday evening. Precipitation may begin as snow for many areas, before becoming a rain/snow mix with time.
•Snowfall accumulation will not be uniform. Patchy snowfall accumulation of a dusting to 1” is expected across a large portion of the state, with a corridor of higher amounts of 1-3” expected across Northwestern and Western Illinois
•With marginal temperatures in place for the duration of the precipitation, most efficient snowfall accumulation will be on colder surfaces.
