Multi-Day Heat Wave Begins Today 🌡️
A ridge flexing into the region will not only bring an active weather pattern, with t’storm and severe weather chances across the state in the coming days, but also hot and humid conditions for portions of Illinois.
For today, the hottest temperatures will be focused across Western, West-Central, and Southern Illinois. High temperatures across these areas are expected to reach the upper 80s to mid 90s. Combined with high humidity, peak heat index values will climb into the 96–107° range.
