•A level 1 severe t’storm threat is in place across much of Central and Southern Illinois from this evening through early Wednesday morning, for the threat of isolated severe t’storms. Hail will be the main threat with activity.
•A severe t’storm threat will also exist from Wednesday morning through Thursday morning. An outlook for this timeframe will be issued during the next full forecast cycle, which will be tonight.

•As multiple disturbances and then a main through eject out through the region, multiple rounds of rain and t’storm activity can be expected across the state through Thursday. A severe t’storm threat will be likely with some of this activity across portions Central and Southern Illinois during this period.
•This Evening-Early Wednesday morning… Two rounds of rain and t’storm activity have already impacted much of Central and Southern Illinois this morning and this afternoon. The round of activity this afternoon was accompanied by isolated severe t’storms, which produced hail. Another round or two of rain and t’storm activity will develop and traverse a good portion of Central and Southern Illinois from this evening through early Wednesday morning. An isolated severe t’storm threat will remain possible with this activity, with hail continuing to be the main threat.
