•Snowfall/sleet accumulation ranging from a dusting to 2″ will be likely across portions of Central and Southern Illinois. A corridor of localized higher snowfall totals will be possible.
•Freezing rain/ice accumulation of a glaze (<0.10″) will be likely across portions of Central and Southern Illinois.
•Travel impacts will be possible across affected areas.

✔️Summary…
•As a disturbance passes through the region and warm air advection occurs, a large area of precipitation will develop and spread across Central and Southern Illinois from this evening through midday Monday. Of focus will be especially this evening through early Monday morning, when a wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain will be likely across Central and Southern Illinois. Minor accumulation of all precipitation types is expected across affected areas. Isolated t’storms cannot be ruled out as well.
