Severe t’storms will be possible with some of this activity across outlooked areas during portions of this timeframe.

•With this update on the severe t’storm forecast for Wednesday/Wednesday night, we have expanded the level 1 severe t’storm threat across more of Southern Illinois. This change was made based on the latest trends and weather model guidance.
•With this update, we have issued our first severe t’storm forecast for Thursday/Thursday night.

•A level 1 severe t’storm risk is in place across Southern Illinois from Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday morning for the possibility of isolated to severe t’storms. Damaging winds and hail will be the threats from activity.
