In the wake of training t’storm and heavy rainfall activity overnight and into this morning across especially Central Illinois, isolated showers/t’storms will linger through the daytime across portions of Northern and Central Illinois.
Of more focus will be yet another disturbance (MVC) that will slide through the region tonight. This feature will be of focus for another round of t’storm/severe t’storm develop on between later this afternoon and evening across portions of Eastern Nebraska, Iowa and Northern Missouri. This activity may congeal or grow upscale into a loose cluster or two, which will then track across a chunk of Northern and Central Illinois tonight. A severe weather threat will accompany this activity, isolated in coverage.
