Heat Wave Persists Today 🔥
High temperatures will once again peak in the low 90s to around 100° across Central and Southern Illinois today. The one exception will be across portions of Northern Illinois, where temperatures will top out in the 80’s in the wake of a frontal passage.
Peak heat indices will range from 97–108° across Central and Southern Illinois, with gradually improving levels across Northern Illinois.
