Illinois will be gliding through Christmas Eve under mostly cloudy to cloudy skies, so it’s more gray skies than white Christmas, but the holiday spirit stays bright! ☁️🎁
A few “Ho-Ho-H2O” sprinkles (drizzle or light rain) may jingle through: 💧
•Southern Illinois: Morning through the evening.
•Central Illinois: Morning through the night.
•Northern Illinois: Afternoon through the night.
In the evening and overnight, patchy fog could develop in spots — just a little extra mystery in the air for Santa’s late-night commute. 🌫️🦌
Temperatures will be feeling more jolly than frosty:
•Northern Illinois: Low to upper 40’s — light jacket weather.
•Central Illinois: A big gradient, from the mid-40’s to upper-50’s
•Southern Illinois: A wide range, from the the mid-50’s to near 70° — Santa may ditch the coat! 🎅➡️👕
❄️ No white Christmas Eve this year, but whether you’re hosting, traveling, or waiting up for Santa, Illinois looks set for a merry and mild Christmas Eve! 🎄

Thanks for all you do for us!
Merry Christmas!
