Heat Wave Continues Today 🌡️
Hot temperatures and modestly elevated heat indices can be expected today. The hottest temperatures will once again be across Northern Illinois, where afternoon highs will climb into the low to upper 90’s. Elsewhere across Central and Southern Illinois, high temperatures will once again range from the upper 80’s to low 90’s.
Humidity levels will be similar to Tuesday, perhaps a touch higher, with peak heat index values highest across Northern Illinois, maxing out between 95-104°. Elsewhere across Central and Southern Illinois, heat indices will peak in the low 90’s to upper 90’s.
