Today begins the peak of the heat wave across the state, as hot and humid conditions continue. High temperatures will climb into the low to mid 90’s statewide, perhaps into the upper 90’s in some locations. Peak heat index values climb into the 100–110° range, locally higher. #ILwx #heatwave
