•With this update, we have adjusted the location of level 2 severe t’storm probabilities across the state on the severe t’storm forecast or today/tonight. Changes were made based on real time data and the latest trends.

•A level 1 to 2 severe t’storm risk is in place across all of Illinois from midday today through early Saturday morning for the likelihood of isolated to widely scattered severe t’storms. Damaging winds, large hail, and an isolated tornado will be the threats from activity. Across the significant severe corridor… Environmental conditions will be supportive of the possibility of occurrences of damaging winds 75MPH+ and/or corridors of widespread/significant wind damage. An initial complex of rain/t’storms has tracked across portions of Northern and Central Illinois from this morning and midday today. This activity will linger across these areas into early this afternoon. A second round of activity is expected to traverse much of the state from this afternoon into tonight. A severe t’storm threat will be likely across outlooked areas with this activity.
