•A period of snow will traverse a large portion of the state from early Friday morning through late Friday evening.
•Precipitation across Southern Illinois may be a messy mixture of snow, sleet, and rain.
•Snowfall accumulation of a dusting to 1-3” is expected across Central and Southern Illinois. Locally higher amounts may be possible across portions of Central Illinois.
•Given the sun angle this time of year and ground temperatures that are mild, most efficient accumulation may be on colder surfaces.
