•Friday Morning – Saturday Morning, March 6-7th.

📍Location…
•All of Illinois.

⚡️Hazards…
•A level 1 severe t’storm threat is in place across the entirety of from Friday morning through Saturday morning, for the threat of isolated severe t’storms. Large hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado will be the threats.

✔️Summary…
•As a storm system develops and tracks through the region, multiple rounds of rain/t’storm activity is expected to traverse the state from Friday morning through Saturday morning. A severe t’storm threat will be possible with some of this activity across the state during this period.
•Two distinct rounds of rain/t’storm activity can be expected across the state int he Friday morning through Saturday morning timeframe. The first round of activity, which will favor Western and Northern Illinois, will lift through ahead of an advancing warm front. A isolated severe t’storm threat may exist with this activity for these areas. The second and main round will affect areas state-wide, as widespread rain/t’storm develop along/head of an advancing cold front across Iowa and Missouri during Friday afternoon. This activity will then sweep across the state, between Friday evening and Saturday morning. A severe t’storm threat will be possible state-wide with this activity.
